What People Have Been Saying About This Site

Thank you so much for your brilliant site, the best of its kind I have ever seen. None of my family are there but what a brilliant resource. Clare Abbott

I found this site when updating Know Your Parish articles that appeared in the Northumberland & Durham Family History Society Journal in the 1990's. Main purpose was to add web links to these articles and put them on-line .
This website must be in the top three that I have come across when doing research.

A wonderful web site. I found 2 relatives, and their families Thomas Dobeson, and George Alexander and wife Elizabeth nee Dobeson and family .Does anyone know the location of Mount Pleasant at Bill Quay? I'm very grateful for your effort in providing this resource. Al Powditch

What a fantastic resource you have created here. A couple of years ago I visited the church and 3 hours of trudging around the graveyard in the rain yielded nothing. However today I have found 10 of my ancestors on a wonderfully clear photograph of their grave stone. Thank you! Dot Saunders

Have just discovered this excellent site. I am interested in family history, so was most impressed by the inclusion of gravestone photos. I have mid-19th Century ancestors buried in the churchyard (my Great Grandfather Matthew Jackson SCOTT, his parents & other family members.
